Design and Build Main Contract for the Cleanroom and services

In May 2007 Merit commenced design and build of the clean room in the state of the art electronics factory currently being built for Plastic Logic on the outskirts of Dresden.

The 4,000 sq metre facility is being fast tracked towards hand-over in Spring 2007 and will manufacture a revolutionary range of flexible, portable, electronic displays which have been developed by Plastic Logic. This fascinating and challenging project is ideally suited to the broad range of skills and experience which we can deliver to our clients.

Dresden has in recent years established itself as one of the preferred locations world-wide for research, development and volume manufacture in the electronics industry. With this in mind, and as part of our controlled expansion strategy, we have now established our German subsidiary, Merit Merrell Technologie GmbH, to address the wide range of opportunities which both Dresden and the rest of Germany present.
